How to enter
- Create your free account and post your profile — a short video intro, an “About you” summary, and at least three skills. That's a complete entry.
- Keep your profile published until the winners are announced.
- Share your profile link — views count toward the Most Viewed prize, and the free AI help (profile polish, video review, resume review) can sharpen your entry before employers see it.

The rules
Eligibility. Open to residents of Canada who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory. One entry per person. Profiles posted by the virtres team, and demo profiles, are not eligible. No purchase is necessary — posting a profile on virtres is free.
What counts as an entry. A profile posted between October 23 and November 20, 2026 that is complete (video introduction, an “About you” summary, and at least three listed skills) and remains published through the winner announcement. Profiles may be edited freely before the deadline.
Judging & views. Best Video is judged by the virtres team; the judges' decision is final. Most Viewed uses the view counts recorded by virtres (counted once per visitor session; your own views of your profile don't count). In a tie, the earlier-posted profile wins. Profiles with manipulated or fraudulent view counts may be disqualified.
One prize per person. The Lucky Draw excludes the Best Video and Most Viewed winners. As required for Canadian contests of chance, the Lucky Draw winner must correctly answer a simple skill-testing arithmetic question to claim the prize.
Claiming a prize. Winners are notified at the email address on their account within five days of the announcement and must reply within seven days, or an alternate winner may be chosen. Prizes are paid by Interac e-Transfer in Canadian dollars.
Your content. Entering means that if you win, virtres may feature your name, profile, and video in the winner announcement and in promotion of the contest results. Your contact details stay private under the same rules as always — never public, only visible to verified employers.
